About Me
Having served over 20 years in the education space, what continues to drive me is the pursuit of effective learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse learners and contexts. I am excited by the challenge of using evidence to determine what learners need and how to successfully deliver it to them with the support of technology.
I began my career in education as a classroom teacher and recognized early that a number of factors impact learning. I’ve since dedicated my career to curriculum development, instructional design, interactive media development, and leading, consulting, and collaborating with education companies and organizations.
My passion: Designing learning experiences that work.
Work that excites me:
Applying insights from the learning sciences to designing interactive curricula for K-12 students and adults
Ideating with dedicated professionals to build and improve ed tech products to meet specific needs or requirements
Reviewing educational content and providing feedback within the context of evidence-based practices
Leading and collaborating with a team of subject matter experts, instructional designers, multimedia creators, and ed tech developers through the production of educational content or products
Coaching teams to improve instructional design, product development workflows, and user experience
